Do you really produce every item only after an order has been placed?

Yes, absolutely. Of course, we always have certain items in stock (grinders, papers, and standard bowls), but due to the many choices available for our glass items (carb hole, logo, accessories, etc.), we produce everything exactly to your specifications immediately after receiving your order.

Can I still change my order?

Once we have registered your payment and assigned it to your order, our glassblowers will automatically receive your order and immediately begin production.

Therefore, changes/cancellations are only possible up to this point. Thank you for your understanding!

Can you also close my kick-hole again afterwards?

This is generally possible, but it involves effort and risks, and the spot will be clearly visible afterwards. If you are unsure whether to have a carb hole or not, we recommend ordering your bong without one first. Adding a carb hole afterwards is not a problem for 99% of pipes and is offered by us as a free service (you only pay the shipping costs).

Why don't you charge extra for the kick hole?

Unlike other German manufacturers, we have deliberately chosen not to charge extra for a carb hole 🙂 Yes – installing a carb hole means additional effort and costs our glassblowers time, concentration, and energy. Nevertheless, we do not see the carb hole as an extra, but as a free service that we are happy to offer our customers. In addition: Our pipes are smoked worldwide – and preferences differ greatly. In Italy or the USA, people almost exclusively smoke without a carb hole, while in Germany, a carb hole is simply part of the experience for many. Instead of charging extra for this, we leave the decision to you – at no additional cost.

Do you ship neutrally?

We ship every package completely NEUTRAL. As the sender, you will find BURDICH LABORBEDARF GMBH on the DHL label. Only the contact person Thomas EHLE serves as a hidden hint as to who this package is from. This way, no one will know what you have chosen in our online shop.

Which shipping service do you use to send parcels?

We ship exclusively with DHL.

Will I receive a tracking number from you?

Of course, you will receive a tracking number from us so that you can always check exactly where your order is currently located and when it will arrive. Please note: DHL transmits the first data on the day of dispatch from 4:30 PM at the earliest.

I'm worried about ordering glass online; it often arrives broken, doesn't it?

Your concern is absolutely understandable 🙂 But this is exactly where our experience comes into play: We have been producing and shipping glass products for over 37 years and know exactly what is important when it comes to packaging. Yes, our packaging costs are exorbitantly high – and sometimes our shipping department even means too well. They prefer to choose a slightly larger box or use more packaging material than you might expect. We do all of this for only one reason: to ensure that absolutely nothing happens during shipping. Each pipe is carefully and shatter-proof packaged by us so that it can withstand shipping without any problems. Damage is therefore extremely rare – and if something should happen, we will find a solution together.

Why do you always pad the packages with those stupid shreds?

Good question – and yes, we know: unpacking can sometimes be annoying 🙂 But here too, our experience speaks volumes: we have been shipping glass products for over 37 years and have tested many types of packaging. For the different shapes, sizes and weights of our pipes and accessories, these packing peanuts have simply proven to be the safest and most suitable solution. They reliably fill voids, absorb shocks and prevent glass from moving around in the box. In short: Yes, unpacking might take a few seconds longer – but your order won't arrive in 1000 pieces. And another important point: our peanuts are made from 100% recycled materials and are therefore not an additional burden on the environment. Safety for your glass and responsibility for the environment – that's how we do it.

Can I also pick up my order at your location in Limburg?

Of course, this is generally possible, and we always look forward to visitors and to you possibly being able to take a look at the production. VERY IMPORTANT: Please call us beforehand at 06431 - 44763 to arrange an appointment! It would be very frustrating if you visited us but your order wasn't ready yet.

Return

Everything about returns — as simple as possible.

Can I return my order?

Generally, you have a 14-day right of return.

Important note: According to § 312g II 1 No. 1 BGB, the right of withdrawal does not apply, among other things, to the delivery of goods that have been manufactured according to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to your personal needs.

How does a return work?

After you have submitted your cancellation in writing (only applies to standard items that were not produced according to your specifications), you must return the item at your own expense. After inspection upon receipt, we will issue a credit note (minus shipping costs) and refund the amount to the original payment method.

Which articles are not considered standard products and are excluded from returns?

Every product we manufacture according to your wishes is considered a custom order and cannot be returned.

This includes:

- Bongs (as you can choose the carb hole, joint, logo, and accessories)

- Accessory color sections

- Middle parts such as couplers and diffusers

- Complete custom orders according to customer specifications

Why can't I pay with PayPal?

PayPal has decided to no longer work with headshops. Unfortunately, we cannot influence this decision, and we find it to be wrong and discriminatory. We are therefore all the more hopeful for your support: Please choose one of our other payment methods and continue to be loyal to us.

Is my payment really secure with you?

Yes! All payments are processed via encrypted SSL connections — your data is never stored with us. Payment processing is handled by certified and audited payment providers. You pay in the way you're familiar with — securely and simply.

Repair

Do you have a repair service?

You can be as careful as you like – unfortunately, glass is brittle, and accidents happen quickly. To prevent these from turning into a catastrophe, we offer our fast and affordable repair service. We have compiled the most important information for you HERE.

Do you also repair ROOR pipes?

Yes. We also repair ROOR pipes.

If the damage can be technically repaired, our glassblower will examine the pipe and decide what is possible. Simply send us a few photos in advance by email or DM – then we will give you an honest assessment of the effort, duration, and costs.

Is there a warranty on your products?

The rumor (lifetime warranty) is and remains a rumor :-)

It is impossible to give a warranty on glass products. Just as we exercise the utmost care in production, it is also up to you to handle our products carefully. Should an mishap nevertheless occur, we will of course try to help you as best as possible with our repair service.

Why don't you repair products from other manufacturers?

We have consciously positioned ourselves as a "Made in Germany" manufacturer and want to clearly distinguish ourselves from cheap mass-produced goods from China or India.

With pipes from other manufacturers, we generally do not know what glass was used or how it was processed. Different glass compositions, wall thicknesses or tensions in the material pose a high risk when heated. This risk is simply too great for our glassblowers - both for the workpiece and for safety in the work process.

For this reason, we only repair EHLE. pipes and ROOR pipes, where we know the material and quality exactly. This allows us to work responsibly and deliver the quality that EHLE. stands for.

Miscellaneous

Do you also produce custom-made items?

Of course, and we're happy to do so, because it's the only way our glassblowers can continue to develop and push the limits.

Can I visit your production facility?

Basically, yes. During the opening hours of our factory outlet, it is usually possible to take a look at our production.

Please understand, however, that we cannot guarantee this. Our glassblowers sometimes work at different times or it is not technically feasible for production – for example, if a particularly elaborate or very high-quality custom order is in progress. In such moments, concentrated and safe work with glass always takes precedence.
